Maja's inside guide to Stellenbosch - episode one

Cape Town has recently been named as the World’s Best Holiday Hotspot in 2023, by The UK Post Office Travel Money’s 17th annual Worldwide Holiday Costs Barometer. Beating 39 other destinations to claim the top spot, Cape Town is the place where British holidaymakers will get the most value for their hard-earned cash.

For those that love wine, Cape Town is the point of entry to discover the South African winelands. Stellenbosch is an ideal starting point with a picturesque town and absolutely LOADS to explore. 

Our Swedish colleague, Maja Berthas, has recently been to Stellenbosch and has made a series of films, highlighting all the wonderful things there are to do in this historic place as well as enjoy the quality wine on offer.

In the first episode, Maja visits Villiera Wines and gets up close and personal with South Africa’s wildlife falling in love with one of the tallest and prettiest animals in the Cape.
